Having worked with a land developer for the last five years has provided me with incredible insights to the business and a wealth of contacts.  Unfortunately, the housing market tanked, the contacts have changed and the old rules of the business no longer apply.  Builders and developers are reinventing themselves and their business model.

For this reason I started GA Land Connection; a way to network professionally with others in the ndustry.  A way to filter through the new wave of technology tools that many are not comfortable with.  As a 20 year veteran of technology I must say that even I don’t understand why one twitter’s nor why I want to follow a twitter.  The personal and the professional get intertwined.  I tried to set up a Facebook account.  Now all of my son’s college friends have signed up to ‘be my friend’ and I have all their wierd stuff on what was to be my professional Facebook account.  Do you really want to look at pictures of their friends, keg parties, hockey games or whatever?  (You can view those on my “Personal” FB. I don’t think so.So let’s use all the latest and greatest technology; strategically and with a filter.  This site is dedicated to buying and sellingGet Connected land and those in the business.

My website, GA Land Connection, offers free advertising to owners of land.  It filters out new home sales and resales.  Look in any listing service (FMLS, Trulia, Zillow, Cyberhomes, Frontdoor and more…..) to find a home and if you care how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has.  People dealing with land want to filter that out!      They want to stay abreast of city, state, zoning, development and other relevant news as it affects land.Send your comments, thoughts, land to post and get connected!
